Caseload and Student Team

Adding a provider to a student’s team simply gives the provider access to the student’s records in SchoolTx.

In SchoolTx, making a provider responsible for a student’s hours adds them to the provider’s caseload. This implies that the provider is responsible for providing the required services like direct service and consultation/indirect service.

When a student is in the provider’s caseload, SchoolTx will count the required service time towards the provider’s caseload and the student’s owed hours will show on the status page.

There are a few circumstances when this might happen:

• A provider has a supervisor but the supervisor is not responsible for the student’s required hours;

• There is a different provider completing the student’s evaluation;

• For training purposes where one provider might be supporting another.

1. Go to the student’s profile.

2. Go to the team tab.

3. Add the provider from the drop down.

4. Once the provider is added, choose options.

5. Select “Add student to caseload”.
